How to fix it
Enable logging for your AWS DataSync tasks to ensure proper monitoring and audit trail.
- Navigate to the AWS DataSync console
- Select the DataSync task that needs logging enabled
- Edit the task configuration
- In the 'Options' section, enable logging
- Configure the log level (e.g., TRANSFER, ERROR, etc.)
- Set up CloudWatch Logs destination if needed
- Save the configuration changes
- Verify that logging is now enabled for the task
