How to fix it

Enable deletion protection for your Amazon DocumentDB cluster to prevent accidental deletion.

Open the Amazon DocumentDB console.
Choose 'Clusters' from the navigation pane.
Select the cluster you want to modify.
Choose 'Modify'.
In the 'Deletion protection' section, select 'Enable deletion protection'.
Choose 'Continue' and then 'Modify cluster'.
